I am considering Fraxel to get ride on some fine lines and after reading some of the past experiences I am alittle nervous about the procedure. I am only 38 yrs old and was wondering if there wasn't something else out there that was less painful????

Hi, from what I have read about fraxel.. i wouldnt do it for fine lines ! Their faces are swelling up so bad that the eyes are closed shut ??? No thank you ! A few years back I had 3 cool touch laser treatments for mild acne scarring, and the results were ok, nothing great, but it did work. I want to do more.. but I did have a line from my dimples running up my face and it got rid of it ! Definiteley ! That line is still gone a few years later. There is no swelling or down time with the cool touch at all.. 5 treatments is the norm, I dont know why he told me I only needed 3, but I never went back for a checkup. Am going back for a few more

The Obagi Blue Peel is wonderful. It is a physician administered chemical peel procedure, a little uncomfortable, not painful, and only 5 days down-time. For maximum benefit begin with the Obagi Nu Derm System for 6 weeks prior, have the peel and restart the Nu Derm 2 weeks later for up to 18 weeks.

Hi, if your fine lines come from sun exposure, Retin-A/Renova helps alot. You need a prescription and start with 0.02%. I started using it every 3rd night the first two weeks. 3rd week: every other night. Then you can use it every night. SPF 30+ at daytime, rain or sun. After the first tube go to a higher concentration like 0,05 % or even higher, but consult a doctor. If your skin can tolerate it, you will see a big difference in one year. Take care.
