Latisse is new FDA approved medication to make eyelashes grow darker, thicker and longer. It requires an RX. Has anyone experienced fading eyeliner as a result of a person using this medication? Thanks

It works just fine and does not fade the eyeliner. Have them off of it for the week after you do a procedure on their eyes. ---------- Be well and beautiful, :)udy judy@facecrafter.com www.facecrafter.com 941-351-1333

July, I know you have experience with both the Revitalash and the Latisse. How would you compare the two in terms of how much active ingredient they contain?

They are about the same. Latisse is direct from Allergan, the makers of Botox and Thera Tears, and Breast Implants to name a few. Since the percentage of active ingredient is not known for Revitalash, I can only go by results. They are both effective. I have noticed with Latisse, that the product is less irritating than Revitalash. Just my experience. The Latisse product is much more expensive and being a Rx, is not returnable. That being said, I think the days of its competitors are numbered. Allergan has several lawsuits against the companies, including Revitalash and others. If they win, and with the deep pockets they have it is likely they will, they will have the upper hand, in that they will require FDA approval to sell this stuff. ---------- Be well and beautiful, :)udy judy@facecrafter.com www.facecrafter.com 941-351-1333

It might be that it is dry here, but the first few days it was really dry, I am using another brand now because it is less drying........but it just might be because we have zzzzzzzero humidity here. ---------- Karla Kwist,CPCP

I'm using latisse now, but only for a week, in the meantime my lashes have grown crazy long - what from? who knows, but certainly from the cancer treatment...nothing else has changed!! Go figure..I'm backwards from everyone else. ---------- Be well and beautiful, :)udy judy@facecrafter.com www.facecrafter.com 941-351-1333

Judy are you still a rep for RevitaLash or have you totally switched over to Latisse?

Personally I liked the original RevitaLash better than the Latisse. Of course that was pre December 07 when they still had the Bimatoprost (Lumigan) in it. I have been using the Latisse for 2-3 months now and it works well, but I still like the old RevitaLash better. I hate the stupid applicator brushes they give for the Latisse.
They’re actually comparable in price:
RevitaLash - $160 Suggested Retail for 4.10 ml Latisse - $120 Suggested Retail for 3.00 ml
Neither RevitaLash nor Latisse fade permanent eyeliner. I don’t seem to have irritation with either product.
Just my 2 cents.

I am no longer a rep for revitalash, nor do I rep Latisse (it is repped by allergan). So I am just an innocent user now. I seem to be having good results with Latisse, but I've only been using it for 1-2 weeks.. ---------- Be well and beautiful, :)udy judy@facecrafter.com www.facecrafter.com 941-351-1333
