I recently had a few clients return with really blotchy looking brows. These clients were older clients but for some reason the colors healed really blotchy. Does anyone know why this would happen? One of my clients brows healed almost a black/blue color. I used cafe ole because she wanted them dark. What would you suggest I do to fix this? I've been using the softap line for a year now and this has never happened before. Can someone shed some light to this problem?

Are you using sof tap with a sof tap needle? If not and are using sof tap colors with a traditional digital or pen needle you may end up with problems. I did this years ago and had to learn the hard way that you do not use sof tap colors with any other needles than with sof tap. I had some colors turning pink and orange and it was a nightmare.

Well I have learned it is not the pigment but the technique implanting it. Artist behind the tool and the given canvas.
I know many people using with machines and a success?

Don't get me wrong... it just didn't work for me. I had a lot of issues with the ST pigments turning pink or orange when years went by. Nothing personal but true story. Have not had any issues since I changed. I do use the sof tap method and it is good but I do think the pigments work best with the sof tap needles.

I use the whole softap pigment line and so far have been pretty happy. I use a handtool and a digital machine. Being that I've only been using softap colors for a year, I have yet to see results after a longer period of time. I sure hope that my clients don't come back with pink and orange brows after two years because I've been correcting those color brows with the softap line for a while now! Jane, what have you've experienced with a machine and softap??

Kimber, I use Soft Tap exclusively, it is what I learned on, and felt most comfortable using what I know. As with anything, there is time needed to learn which shades you like best. Alexxis is always very helpful with any questions. I have had some brows come back red, but I explained to them that all the anti aging products that we all use, etc. contribute to colors changing. I corrected them, and kept very happy clients. Also, in Vegas, I got the new cool pallete of colors and absolutely Love them!!! I am now seeing them come back healed, and they are great. Oh, I use a digital machine, by the way.

Marti, Thank you! That makes me feel a lot better. I haven't seen anyone come back red or pink yet since i've used the softap colors. I guess I need to tell my clients that this could happen. I recently ordered the New Cool colors too and am slowly learning how to use them. The greenish shades throws me off a bit, so I haven't used any of the colors alone but have mixed with them. Can you give me some tips on the new color line?
