From origginally black (turned blue with years) to brown?? Can I simply overtattoo with the new color??

What's the saturation of the blue? Very important question. If it is very light and has a grey blue haze, my recomendaton would be to use un-gray for the first pass and then a brown (I'm assuming a darker brown which is cooler) with some additon of un-gray. IF it is highly saturated blue, IMO your best bet is to use un-gray for the entire procedure and leave it alone until it heales. It will only stay the un-gray color for a short period, as it blends with the existing blue rather quickly. On the follow up visit then use the desired brown but depending on the hue of the color seen in the eyeliner, you may wish to add some un-gray to the brown for the t/u.

Does un-Gray have orange qualities? Wouldn't caribbean Modifier be a good choice if truly presenting blue?
jpOkay, I have to say DUH right now - I just read further & found LiZa's very cool post FAQ on LIP Modifiers. cripes. Sometimes I feel like my ears are not yet dry.

Does un-Gray have orange qualities? Yes, straight orange inorganic. Have to ask Liza if an additon to Un-Gray with C. Mod or if C. Mod would be more appropriate. I've had good results from just un-gray and would assume again, it will depend on the saturation level of the blue.

if the eyeliner has turned blue from being once black, just go over it with caribbean mod and then ebony brown. thats what caribbean mod is meant for.

Those nice little guys on the Geico commercials bring me my food!!! A new respect I've found for C - Mod. Good to know. I'll quit using un-gray for blue eyeliners.
