*Meeting PMU artists that you have heard about for years and getting the opportunity to "pick their brains" for information and techniques that have taken them years to learn and perfect...Val Hovan, Pat Connell, LiZa Sims, Kate Ciampi, to name just a few.

*Meeting other PMU artists that you enjoy and will get to meet again and again at conventions and conferences to share laughs and your tattoo stories. The networking part of the convention is a priceless opportunity.

*Learning even one new great thing. I learned more than that in Houston, but just one new pearl of learning is worth the investment in attending the convention.

The first person I met (unknown from MB) Friday night was Marti. We all asked where each other was from.
When I told her she said (in the cutest accent) Oh, and how about that """" Winery, I was just at a wedding there it was so beautiful". Are you kidding, that is where I work!
"No way, I picked up your brochure when I was there, I liked the article you had there."

Can you guys believe that? I have never mentioned my exact location so before I answered had to take a double take.

I made the mistake of buying from cheap tickets.com, last minute tickets to
houston, tx from anchorage, ak for travel to houston march 10 and return
march 21.
never again.
i missed my flight home from houston, via delta.
delta told me too bad, my purchase was through cheaptickets, there was
nothing they could do.
cheaptickets got someone named DONNA from alaska airlines on the phone. I
dont know how she did it, but a computer re-boot and several hours later,
DONNA FROM ALASKA AIRLINES EXISTING RESERVATION LINE had me leaving
houston, overnighting in atlanta, flying to seattle the next day and
connecting to anchorage.
GOD BLESS YOU DONNA, WHOEVER YOU ARE. I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU.
it took someone from ALASKA AIRLINES to help me with my delta flight
purchased from cheap tickets!

when we me, she had just had her BB like 3 months prior, so she still had a little maternity weight, and this time--o wowey zowey...what a BeeeeUUUUU-TEEE. i was blown away.

we really do have some lovely ladies, and i was double blown away by the talent on karaoke night.

Ya got my bootie in the pink hat, 5th picture down (same picture as Marse. Gee, Marse looks adorable, and you get my tush. ughhhh.

Was one of the best I have been and met many good friends as you, Shanen, Maria Begona(from Canada),Nancy, of course ...Judy AKA Facecrafter and the time to share with all the wanderful trainers and many more to long to tell.

was very brave to see Margie coming despite her sicknes and share this moments with us.

We are really becoming a big national PMU organization with a sense of family.
